Black and white drive-by street photography. Two journeys thru London a Sunday in July and another in October 2017
I find myself wishing for a red light. On Sundays I sometimes ride in the passenger-seat. I get a bit obsessive trying to capture moments of London life as we drive, anticipating a scene ahead as the car zooms by. These are taken with an iPhone6 or a small sony point and shoot as we drive from Croydon to Finchley for Sunday lunch at my in-laws.

...for the lovely couple Matthieu and Sarah. I covered the groom Matthieu getting ready for his big day for the couple's wedding photographer Jess Soper. Jess has understandably been very busy shooting many weddings this summer and autumn. Check out her timeless, documentary style on her website. jesssoperphotography.com
Trying to choose 5 pictures out of this lot for a b/w child photo competition. I keep sleeping on it, but getting nowhere. http://blackandwhite.childphotocompetition.com
A fun-filled Sunday afternoon with the Sheehy-Adekale family. Hula hoops, bubbles, giggles, a touch of mischief and masses of love.
"These are just a handful of the beautiful photos the amazingly talented Jessica Lindgren-Wu took of my family this weekend. She captured the essence of each of us, and gave me a priceless gift. The idea of being in front of a camera is not always the most comfortable of things, but Jessica made it feel playful, fun and effortless. We had a wonderful time. I've always thought her work was stunning, but I can now say that the experience itself is just as good as the end results! Thank you so very very much Jessica xx" A. Sheehy-Adekale
It's not often I get asked to make photos for and of a Goddess. Now I have, I would happily do it again.
Despite fairly severe traffic delays driving from South London to the New Forest that afternoon which resulted in a chase against time and the fast disappearing light, this shoot was an amazing experience.
The make shift improvisation and rethink of lighting worked out beautifully despite my initial reservations and at times experimental camera settings.
It was a first for me setting off smoke grenades, a first photographing while getting a wet bum in a forest stream, and a first time rummaging thru a dense shurb-land after sunset to catch a shot with wild ponies. Modelled by Louisa, a creative mother of two, reiki healer and embodiment of the goddess. Styling help and last minute make-up by Nancy Rolllinson, who also assisted me together with location-scouting and light-shining Adeola Sheehy-Adekale. African fabric necklace was custom-made by the talented Sarah Keane https://folksy.com/shops/Mummatroll
Joe and Sian's lovely London wedding earlier this spring. I photographed the groom getting ready for Jess Soper, a wedding and family photographer based in Essex. You can see the whole wedding on Jess' blog. After scrolling through these pictures I'm sure you will want to see the bride! http://jesssoperphotography.com/blog/
Yoga Akasha is a yoga studio in East Grinstead. I really enjoyed photographing mother and daughter Jody and Sam. Jody Lawrance runs this beautiful yoga studio and Sam Gent is an asthanga yogi and yoga teacher. Obeserving their practice through the lens was both inspirational and relaxing.
